W R I T E R

W riting my entry for the Australian Fairy Tale Society's short story competition. The theme – 'Cunning and Cleverness.' Quite a challenge.

R eading Sarah Winman's, When God Was a Rabbit for the second time. Love her work. Also read Sally Murphy's Pearl Verses the World again today. Have read it so many times and it still moves me to tears. Such a beautiful book.

I nterested in learning to draw but where to begin? Can anyone suggest an online course for someone like me who's convinced that they have absolutely no talent in that area?

T rained it to the city today to attend the first Dymock's Literary Lunch for 2018. Nigella Lawson talking with Annabel Crabb. A great day out.

E xcited to have another picture book manuscript accepted for publication. Don't want to say too much until that agreement is signed.

R eally loved taking part in the CBCA Illawarra Branch 'Kids' Day Out' last Thursday. So many enthusiastic children and writers had fun at Dapto library.
